Nuestra Señora del Pilar (Our Lady of the Pillar), the name given to the Blessed Virgin Mary for her appearance in Spain, where she is commonly depicted as standing on top of a pillar.
María del Pilar (Mary of the Pillar), derived from the above, is a common female name in Latin American countries. 
In Spain, it is usually abbreviated to Pilar, and as such developed into a name in its own right.
In Hawaii, it means beloved. 

For us it is strength, support, foundation, journey, action, wisdom, anchor, community, redefinition, establishing and connecting.

We meet at 9:30 on Wednesday mornings at the church. We do not have a rigid schedule or study that we follow. We simply use the time to share both our praises and our struggles.
Our conversations are organically led by the Holy Spirit. 
Wherever you are on your journey, this is a time that you can meet with other women that will meet you where you are.
